Letter from Mark    Pairing with a Group   Service Projects   Coaching  Important Dates  Frequently Asked Questions Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, The 2008 Lenten series called "This is My Body, L.A." will begin February 6th and will focus on the interactions Jesus has at table in Luke and Acts. We are excited about the revamped role that coaches will play in the process, and we are hoping that you will continue serving into the new year as part of our coaching team. Coaches have a crucial function as the intermediaries between Bel Air Pres leadership and the different small group leaders. With 300 small groups and consequently 300 small group leaders, the pastors and staff cannot possibly connect with all of them. Bel Air Pres needs you to assist the leaders, and shepherd them as they shepherd their flock. Each of you has been chosen in the past because of your love for Christ and because Bel Air Pres has complete faith in your passion for small groups and your ability to lead others. This year, we are asking our coaches to equip and support 6-12 leaders through: Praying for them; Helping them to navigate the orientation for Lent 2008 and to find a group to pair up with for the Easter season field trip (you will be given the necessary materials and information later); Meeting together with your group of leaders once to celebrate what God is doing through your groups and through This is My Body, L.A., and to answer any questions your leaders might have; and Providing ongoing support, as well as a direct connection to the church, should your leaders have ongoing issues in their groups.
